I asked The Official Test Centre, Pro-Rider Scotty Stallman what can watersports enthusiasts expect when they walk through the doors, he said: "It is all in the name 'Armstrong Superstore', it is the biggest and the only place in the UK where you can view the whole Armstrong range, all the foils, all the boards, the wings and of course all the new products coming out, we will be the first in the country to be getting this stuff and we will have it in stock, you can come to the shop and you will have expert advice from people that use it day-in day-out, come here have one-on-one chats with the guys, they will be able to point you in the right direction, if you have any questions they can answer them. "
Scotty added: "Also part of it we have The Official Test Centre (The OTC) where we have the full demo fleet of Armstrong gear down there, so that incudes absolutely everything and any new gear will go into The OTC for you to demo. It really is the only place in the country where you will be able to view all the kit at the same time, same place, you can compare it and try it on the water, it is quite a big step up for us as a shop we are moving forward in such a good way, so come on down."
What makes Armstrong the best kit?
Scotty said: "I think there are many positive attributes to Armstrong and I think it is so well built and I think it is bomb proof, the amount of times we have been out tow foiling or winging and we have hit a reef, you come up and you look at your foil and you expect it to be damaged and it is absolutely fine."
Scotty added: "Also the ethos behind the brand, the guys involved are all avid wingfoilers, they are all foilers they want to be on the water, ultimately they are making a product that is good for them. They may not be the best foilers in the world, but they are at a level where it is quite transparent across the world and they are producing gear that is really good and user-friendly."
Scotty added: "The range is pretty simple you don't have to look at 20 different front wings, you have a selection of about four or five, you can choose which one you'd like to use and it is super easy - just plug and play. I will have one of those and one of those, put them into the foil and off you go and it is just easy. There are a lot of things that make it a good brand to work with, the guys are nice, the kit is really good and it is bomb proof."
An Armstrong rider Cash just won the Wingfoil World Champs!
Scotty said: "Yes Cash, Cash Berzolla the guy is absolutely amazing there are quite a few cool videos on YouTube and they are well worth a watch. Armstrong have done a really good job of picking up riders that can not only perform well in competition, but they are really good at pumping out social media content that is so good to watch. Then it is more relatable for the customer, so they can see that the riders do go out and just relax and have fun and they are cool people to be around. I think they have created a nice atmosphere within the brand and just the whole vibe is really good and what we know and understand from the guys it is just the start, it is going to evolve and become something that takes over the world!"
